The olive harvest in Palestine 2013

We worked with families in several villages near the settlements. It happens that the settlers attack families (one woman was attacked while breast-feeding her baby) and often they destroy the trees at night.

Olive trees are very important for Palestinians, and it’s important to harvest them, because if they aren’t, it’s easier for Israel to annex the land. So picking olives is a form of resistance.
